Upgrades
The aim of Maximo Upgrade process is to bring the lower version of maximo to the higher version of maximo using IBM Maximo Upgrade Utility.Upgradation is nothing but to change the structure of maximo database from lower version to higher version.
- In order to move to the higher version from the older one of maximo we can simply use upgrade utilitues.
- Upgrade utility avoids tha data loss.
- Upgradation is a three step procedure and in each step we need to resolve the database related errors.
- It lightens the burden of data mapping which is to be done when using the migration process to move from lower version to the higher version of maximo.
