Managed Workplace Reports
Managed Workplace
provides Web-based reports on infrastructure availability
and performance. With over 80 different possible reports to
view, Managed Workplace delivers both management level views
of the entire infrastructure and detailed application/device
specific breakdowns based on designated metrics.
Automated Corrective Actions
ZenMonitor also offers event driven automated corrective
actions to automatically resolve events before they turn
into problems. By automating corrective actions, IT
organizations decrease problem resolution time and improve
system availability.
Possible actions on a given event include:
- Restart services
- Schedule/run scripts
- Shutdown systems
- Schedule/run programs
- Clean up file systems
Notification Process
ZenMonitor notifies customers when business systems and
applications require attention, with built in escalation to
ensure that critical events are always recognized and
addressed by the designated IT staff member. Notification
and escalation processes are defined at service onset, and
are based on event severity.

Secure Connectivity
ZenFocus connects to customers via Onsite Manager,
ZenFocus's customer connectivity network, through either a
point-to-point connection or via the Internet. Depending on
the monitored service offered by ZenFocus, customers can
choose to utilize IPSec security running 3DES encryption
over a VPN, with the VPN device supplied and configured by
ZenFocus, or have an agentless solution that leverages HTTPS
(SSH).
ZenFocus's agent based service option takes advantage of
best of breed technologies to monitor the critical
attributes of our customer's environment. The agents are
deployed to the customer's managed servers once the secure
VPN connection is established. The agentless option
eliminates the need for the VPN tunnel and simply requires
ZenFocus to place a Customer Premise Device (CPE) inside the
customer's firewall to facilitate the monitoring of the IT
objects. Access is then provided via HTTPS and email.
ZenFocus's Service Delivery team is prepared to help
determine the best overall approach for each customer's
unique situation.
